Very good movie, unfortunately, the book in Endszenze
not fully meet.
As the film introduces a new character, Katherine, the daughter of a recently deceased
maid on the Hauerhof the role
takes over the person listening to all - the real
role of the investigator in a detective story. The incident, during a funeral feast
to gather in honor of the deceased maid
the village and the conflict thus
is centralizing, simply brilliant.
The highlight of the book, the confession of the murderer Hauer
prevented (compared to Kathi here), is by his wife in the film
by their appearance. Everyone seems to be stuck here
under a blanket. The whole village is working in
effort to conceal the fact. The final
a little disappointed, as the flight of the Me
(the hawker) with the hasty departure of Kathi, who is running away with
her suitcase in hand from the village,
is assembled and otherwise nothing happens.
Kathi has seen the Medallion of the slain by Barbara Hauer
and thus discovered the murderer. Then
changes the scene would be sharply from a summer to a winter landscape
scenario, without this extra motivation
