Tannödrezension
It takes a six-fold murder on a farm, bordering close to a small village. The murdered farmer was anything but popular, and his adult daughter had probably more than an affair. But why had to die two innocent minor children? With the family, the new maid came to her first day to death. Her older sister, she had taken there, is tormented by guilt allegations. Every day she returns to the village and does not let up, to search for the culprits.
2 years after the murder, around a young woman (Julia Jentsch) back to the village for the funeral of her recently deceased mother from cancer. They also went to search for their own past and the question as to why she had sent her mother so soon. But the murder attracted their attention. You'd have to read their thoughts! By any event, the whole thing again rolled up ....
The drama is playing well in the 60iger/70igern of the last century, Bavaria's somewhere in the desert.
The film jumps into the time line back and forth. The mood is dark and often you can see photos of a light gray shrouded in mist and forest.
It is a special kind of perspective, which the director Bettina Oberli throws at the viewer. In our opinion, was the film (as he already can be found in the title) is very boring! We think this film is a matter of taste. We could not live over the film be interesting. For our standards, but the timelines were too confused and a bit too much emphasis is placed on the depressed, rural gloom.
