Many reports on the Anfgriff British bombers on 16 March 1945 to give the impression that this attack was the first and only attack of the old Würzburg destroyed. From the ground, however, that already flown attacks and bombs were dropped on Würzburg - but it could be reported only in the limited-run press.
Lilo Martin has experienced these air raids in Würzburg and the surrounding area with the common, almost 2-year-old son Hans, and describes in her diary what she has seen and experienced.
